Ingredients:
- Kheema (minced meat)- 250 gms
- Cinnamon stick- 2 inch
- Cardamom- 3 pieces
- Clove- 3 pieces
- Onion- 2 sliced
- Tomato- 3, finely chopped
- Oil- 2 tbsp
- Rice- 1 1/2 cups
- Chilli powder- 2 tsp
- Garam masala powder- 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
- Coriander leaves- a handful
- Mint leaves- a handful
- Coriander powder- 2 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp
- Water- 3 cups
- Salt- to taste
- Ghee – 2 tsp
- Cashews- 8-10 pieces
Method
- Wash and marinate the minced meat with 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, salt, and turmeric powder. Let it cook for 5 minutes on low flame.
- In a pressure cooker, heat the oil, add cinnamon stick, cardamom and cloves, and onion. Fry the onion until golden brown.
- Then add the tomatoes and sauté on medium flame until well cooked.
- Add the minced meat and a portion of the coriander and mint leaves. Then add ghee and cashews. Sauté for a while.
- Add chilli powder, salt, coriander powder, and the remaining turmeric powder.
- Add water and once it comes to a boil, add the rice and close the lid.
- Let it cook on medium to high flame for 3 whistles.
- Garnish with fried cashews, fried onion, coriander and mint leaves. Serve hot.
